Mattel partnered with Italian fashion house, Moschino, to create the limited edition Barbie doll dressed in the brand's latest designs, including miniature accessories. The dolls sold out almost immediately. In November, the com'any released an advert for their Moschino Barbie. The advert was praises for challenging gender stereotypes of children's toys, due to the fact that foe the first time in 56 years a boy was used as the face of the brand.
In the advert the little boy exclaims, "Moschino Barbie is so fierce," and plays with the dolls alongside his two (female) friends.
